Do The Moneygrubbing Bastards Out Of Their Revenue!

‘It’s Just Revenue Raising!’ I hear them cry.

What they are referring to is the latest effort by the Queensland police to control speeding in this town by implementing fixed speeding cameras. They get outraged at the draconian attitude of the police, the obvious revenue raising and how they don’t do anything to increase the safety at that location.

  1. They are assuming that it is there for safety
  2. Did they not notice that all of a sudden they are paying attention to their speed
  3. Of course it is there to raise money … but is that a bad thing? Well of course it is … but then again a fool and their money are soon parted.

What I find most amusing is that they don’t seem to have spotted that they are breaking the law … and they are complaining about being caught! Now, I am not saying whether the speed limits in this country are appropriate (especially on the highways), nor am I suggesting that speed is the sole cause of road fatalities that it is apparently linked to – but they are legally binding requirements should you choose to take up the privilege of driving.

So anyway, here’s my dastardly plan to get back at these horrendous imposts like fixed cameras and the mobile road-side ones as well.

DON’T SPEED!

Can you imagine how much money we’d do them out of if we obeyed the law? It would be catastrophic for the governments coffers!
